Deadlines Delayed for Florida Hurricane Ian Victims

Tax-filing and payment deadlines are now delayed for individuals in the state of Florida. For individuals who reside or businesses located anywhere in Florida, deadlines falling on or after September 23, 2022, and before February 15, 2023, are now postponed through February 15, 2023. Applicable IRA deadlines include those for individuals to complete 60-day rollovers, recharacterizations of 2021 contributions, and correction of 2021 contributions to avoid the excess contribution penalty and for employers to make 2021 SEP and SIMPLE IRA contributions.
